Representing the defendant, Chikaosolu SAN informed Justice Kehinde Ogundare that they have reached an agreement with the EFCC to resolve the matter outside of court. In the spirit of reconciliation, they have decided to withdraw the initial objection notice to facilitate further discussions for a settlement.

Representing the prosecution, Bilikisu Buhari verified that the defense's application has been received and is currently under review.
The defendant's counsel proposed June 5th as the date for the settlement report to be submitted, pending court approval. Justice Kehinde Oguns agreed to schedule the hearing for the settlement report.
